Since 1996, the NucWorkers are running a 350 km length
MaxiMarathon, somewhere in the World.
Those runners, ambassadors for their colleagues of nuclear industry, want remind to the
public and to the decision makers the many advantages, for the environment protection, jobs
creation and energetic independance of nuclear energy.
This event aims to materialize the message of a technical progress share by everybody, which
constituate the success of electronuclear industry.
The nucworkers whose word is too rarely given, wish to make understand to the public opinion that
behind the conception, the building and the maintenance of nuclear industry installations,
there are women and men competents and serenes, proud of their tecnical and industrial
creations, women and men which deserve our confidence.
This event should also demonstrate to the policies makers that the nucworkers represent a
resource and a will with whom they have to reckon, as it is the practice in every modern
democracy.
